Project Background

To support the opening of a new POP MART retail location, the brand aimed to create a visually engaging in-store atmosphere and capture high-quality content that reflected POP MART’s collectible-driven identity and youthful brand tone.

 

Monet Marketing was engaged to provide visual planning, on-site photography and videography, and offline activity coordination, ensuring the opening experience was both visually cohesive and smoothly executed.

Strategy

Visual-First Creative Approach:

POP MART’s brand is rooted in design, characters, and collectible culture. Our approach prioritized:

  • Clean, character-focused visual compositions

  • Highlighting product displays, blind box walls, and in-store details

  • Creating content that communicates excitement, discovery, and playfulness

 

Rather than focusing on promotional messaging, the emphasis was on immersive visuals and atmosphere, allowing the products and space to speak for themselves.

  • Pre-opening visual planning and shot list development

  • On-site photography and video capture during store opening

  • Detail shots of products, displays, and customer interactions

  • Wide-angle shots showcasing overall store layout and opening-day energy

 

All content was produced with future multi-platform usage in mind, including social media, marketing materials, and internal brand assets.

Outcome

The new store opening successfully delivered a strong visual impression and a well-organized offline experience. The content captured during the activation provided POP MART with a set of high-quality visual assets that aligned with the brand’s collectible culture and retail identity.
